 The History of Gaming

The history of video games began in the 1950's as the computer scientists began making and designing various and simple games such as the MIT's SPACEWAR! in 1962 which became as one of the first games to be played with video display.

The gaming industry got its first start in the United States in the late 1970's and early 1980's with the introduction of arcade games and other gaming consoles.

As the time passed by, gaming consoles and handhelds such as GameBoy, PSP, N64 and others came to its downfall because of the new and updated gadgets such as smartphones,laptop and gaming computers,and this is when the Gaming began to change.

In the new and updated gadgets and consoles, the games also leveled up, the games now allows the players to interact with each other and it is called the "Online Gaming". This feature is what changed how the gaming is supposed to be, it introduced a lot of new forms of gaming, it allowed gamers to compete and play with each other, it gave freedom to the gamers.


 

The Three Major Genres of Gaming
SHOOTING GAMES/FPS GAMES
it is a weapon-based combat in a first-person perspective, with the player experiencing action through out the battle. These type of game genre is much suited for those gamers who wants to shoot and kill their enemies.

 Shooting Games Recommendations:


1.PLAYER'S UNKNOWN BATTLEGROUND   

It is set in a vast island where the weapons are scattered everywhere and all 100 players has to battle and kill each other. The goal in this game is simple "BE THE LAST MAN STANDING".


2.VALORANT

It is a 5 versus 5 game where you need to team up with other four real time players and work as a team in order to get the victory, to win in this game,you can either kill all the enemies,make the spike explode or defuse the spike.


3.COUNTER STRIKE:GLOBAL OFFENSIVE

It is almost the same as Valorant, but this game is much more realistic compared to Valorant because this game uses real weapons such as AK-47 while Valorant isn't.


MULTIPLAYER ONLINE BATTLE GAMES  (MOBA)


is a subgenre of strategy video games in which two teams of players compete against each other on a predefined battlefield.


Recommendations:


1.LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

League of Legends is a team-based strategy game where two teams of five powerful champions face off to destroy the other's base. Choose from over 140 champions to make epic plays, secure kills, and take down towers as you battle your way to victory.


2. DOTA 2

Also called Defense of the Ancients, this game is is considered as the OG of the MOBA genre,it is almost the basis and inspiration for all the MOBA games out right now.


3. POKEMON UNITE

This is a game where you play as one of the cute Pokemons and you will play with and against real time players.The aim in this game is not to kill and destroy turrets,but to score more goals than your enemies.


MMO-RPG GAMES


A massively multiplayer online role-playing game is a video game that combines aspects of a role-playing video game and a massively multiplayer online settings.


Recommendations:

 

1. CABAL ONLINE

Cabal Online is a free-to-play, 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by South Korea.


2.RAGNAROK ONLINE

It is almost the same as Cabal Online,but the difference is their character classes and Ragnarok online does not have good graphics compared to Cabal Online


3. GENSHIN IMPACT

This MMO RPG game is far more different than those two,this game is like an anime based game where you draw characters and make them stronger. This game is quite enjoyable but a bit Pay To Win.
